Let me introduce the world smallest opposed twin, the Blitz flat twin 2x0.05 ccm Mk I diesel engine. The crank case was manufactured from bar stock. We produced a total of 5 engines. The cylinders and spinner were anodized in gold. These engines have a one piece crank shaft and the connecting rods are divided and held with 2 miniature screws.
